Marks Sattin's Surrey Office are excited to be working with a reputable private equity backed real estate firm, with a diversified investment strategy, that has continued to pay dividends. This firm require a qualified accountant to provide accurate quarterly financial reporting, with full analysis of investment performance, to help ongoing decision making for management and investors. You will report directly to the Financial Controller. This organisation has an exceptional reputation and has seen continued growth, which has seen them become one of the most respected in their field.
The Duties:
- Review/ preparation of quarterly fund accounts, fund reporting and quarterly management accounts and investor reporting for private equity SPVs
- Review of VAT and CIS returns
- Assist the asset management team with calculating the impact on returns of alternative exit strategies
- Assist the acquisition team with financial aspects of new deals
- Monthly rental invoicing for fund
- Liaise with valuators for quarterly fund valuation
- Management of the audit and tax compliance with external providers
- Weekly monitoring of cash flows for SPVs
- Review of SPV payment runs
- Assisting Financial Controller with ad hoc duties as required
The Candidate:
- You are available for a start within 2 weeks
- Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/Equivalent - Finalist with suitable practical experience may be considered
- Strong understanding of technical accounting and tax principles
- Experience working within fund accounting or investments
- Impeccable time management to ensure deadlines are met, along with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, as well as strong interpersonal/communication skills
- Thuis role would suit someone looking to fast track their career, with a path all the way to Financial Controller for the right candidate.
