Working with a FMCG company in Leeds! I am recruiting for a management accountant you will support the finance manager and the senior management team for agriculture, providing timely and accurate financial information and KPI's in order to assist in driving operational improvements and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the finance manager in the production of annual budgets, and provide rolling updates to the forecast
• Work in close partnership with all areas if the business to ensure understanding of all variances to budget/forecast and advise in any corrective action
• Work with the finance manager to produce monthly management accounts, statutory reports and financial statements, with supporting information as required, to be completed accurately and to strict deadlines
• Assist the finance manager with the management of the external audit process for the site
• Prepare accurate financial information as directed by the finance manager at all levels in the Company, including for the weekly call
• Assist the centre with cash flow forecasting, cash management and working capital reports
• Assist the shared service centre with credit control and purchase ledger activities, including timely query resolution
• Maintain all relevant ledgers and balance sheet accounts to SAP
• Produce ledger reconciliations on a monthly and annual basis for the finance managers approval and sign off
• Prepare capex requests for sign off and approval, and to maintain site capex data for financial reporting and cash-flow reporting
