Mandarin Speaking Accountant required to join a high profile start-up business. My client is a newly formed company operating in a very fast moving and exciting sector. The start up has backing from a very wealthy Far East Consortium, the newly appointed Finance Director is seeking to make his first appointment and is inciting applicants for a Mandarin Speaking Accountant who has the right qualities tp be both a short term success and progress rapidly with the business as they continue to grow. Due to the nature of the business you will be coming in at a time where there is nothing in place - there are no systems, processes, controls or reporting in place. Alongside the FD you will play a key part in putting all processes and systems in place and be very hands on in the development of the finance function and the purpose it serves. This will include all aspects of general/nominal ledger and full control of the management accounts and financial reporting process. As the business continues to grow your role will grow with it into a management role which will be a bigger number 2 role to the CFO - as such this is an opportunity unlike any in the market. You will be a fully qualified accountant with Mandarin language skills - more importantly is your attitude and desire to want to progress and have a positive, self-starter (working on your own initiative) type mindset, attitude and approach to your work.
