Our client based in Maidenhead are looking for a Newly Qualified Financial Accountant to join their Blue Chip organisation.

This role would ideally suit someone looking for their first move out of practice, or a newly qualified accountant with experience in a similar position. Reporting into the Group FC this will be a hands on position requiring the candidate to draw on their technical ability to produce management, financial and statutory accounts, analysis data to give insight and develop internal controls.

• Responsible for all group management and financial accounting preparation and statutory compliance
• Actively manage the balance sheet including management, review and reconciliations
• Quarterly and statutory accounts under IFRS
• Reporting on accounts for senior management, providing analysis of the accounts
• Working closely with auditors, both external and internal
• Completing and closing down year end accounts
• Financial planning
• Control of VAT, basic tax competencies and national statistics
• Driving a continuous improvement culture for the financial systems and processes
