Marks Sattin are currently working with a Harrogate based Social Care company to assist in the recruitment of a Commercial Operating Officer. The business is growing and there is a need for someone to take the vacant position as the current incumbent is moving into a new role.

This role will see you developing and establishing the next generations model of service delivery, successfully achieving and sustaining quality income. You will work alongside the Executive function to execute the company vision, put efficient commercial processes, procedures and resources in place to promote scaling and optimise inefficient areas of the business.

Key Skills;

• External Service contracts management.
• Experience of working with Local Authorities / NHS as a provider.
• Strong analytical & inquisitive mind.
• Able to support operational delivery.
• Experience of managing an IT team (they use MSP for infrastructure).
• Some procurement experience.
• Strong excel & report writing skills - analysing the information for the exec team.
• Experience of managing or working with a Finance function (do not need to be an accountant, just have experience of managing or working with the function).

This is a varied role, but what is paramount is you must have experience of working with Local Authorities / NHS form an external provider perspective as you will be looking after the Service Contracts, external agreements & documentation.
