I am currently working with a well-known Global telecommunication business that looking to appoint a new senior Payroll Coordinator.
Where you fit in?
You'll be joining a developing fast pace business within a role that offers flexibility in your approach and method of working.
Your role:
- Managing the payroll in accordance with statutory and company rules
- Manage the accurate and punctual processing of all payroll credit transfers and emergency CHAPS payments
- Ensure that statutory deductions are correctly made and accounted for
- Ensure that non-statutory deductions made on behalf of the employees are accounted for
- Continually monitor and improve the payroll processes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll related legislation and statuary obligations
- Support the delivery of projects to improve payroll system, processes and procedures
What you need?
You'll need to be the kind of person that can work as part of a team and work automatously in a payroll and HR environment. Organisation with exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and to keep to tight deadlines is a must. You'll have detailed knowledge of payroll systems, taxation, national insurance and pension's administration with the ability to prepare and submit monthly and annual returns to HMRC.
Working with European payroll would be an advantage however this is not essential!
