Payroll and Finance Assistant / Knowsley / Salary up to £25K / Permanent

Marks Sattin are representing a private equity backed, market leading company based in Knowsley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant, able to run a small payroll (end to end), to take on a familiar role, with a view to gain a wealth of experience in exciting projects and interesting analysis duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process small monthly payroll (circa 100 employees)
• Maintain payroll records, Tax & NI, Pension, SSP and other deductions
• Query handling of payroll information, maintaining confidentiality
• Ensure payments to deadlines
• Perform payroll data input to deadlines
• Complete year-end returns, avoiding any late filing penalties
• Payroll control account reconciliations
• Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Monthly control account reconciliations
• Provide senior management KPI information
• Ad-hoc project work such as systems implementation

Job Skills:

• Previous experience processing end to end payroll
• Strong Excel skills
• Sage Experience
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
