Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervising and training the payroll team
  • Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams
  • Creating payroll policies and procedures
  • Processing holiday, sick and maternity pay and expenses
  • Verify all overtime hours and commission with the appropriate management personnel prior to issuing payroll checks
  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations

The ideal candidate will have:

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field; professional certification (e.g. CPP, CPM) is a bonus
  • Proven experience as a payroll manager or similar role
  • Excellent mathematics and communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Experience with Oracle payroll system software preferred
