Private equity-backed business in the South West of England requires a Chief Financial Officer to join the leadership team. The company's performance over the past few years has been stellar, and the existing management and private equity backers intend to continue building momentum up to and beyond an exit in the next few years. They are looking for a partner who will be able to take ownership of the finance function and stay with the business throughout these exciting milestones.

If you have been number one in a sizeable private equity backed business and can demonstrate significant growth, active participation in board-level debate, and the smooth integration of acquisitions, your CV is keenly sought. Applicants who can demonstrate success in a similar environment in a divisional Finance Director or group Financial Controller capacity are also welcomed.

Your first task will be to fine tune the finance function and ready it for further growth. Going forward you will have to carefully manage cashflow, balance sheets, and capex spending so examples of work in these areas would be beneficial. As a leader within the company you will be expected to work effectively and inspire others in a fast paced and challenging environment. Experience in a highly leveraged company is strongly preferred, and an accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) is required.
