Leading listed natural resources client who operate across a range of emerging markets have a new opportunity for a qualified Performance Reporting Analyst role to join their finance function in Central London.
The role will be reporting to the Group FP&A Manager within the Group Finance team in London. You will be willing to travel to site for visits with local management and assist with accounting issues, typically 1 or 2 visits per year.
The FP&A team is responsible for group forecasts, budgets, 5 year plan and monthly analysis and the team's deliverables are typically for the Board or external analysts. Each performance analyst is responsible for 2 or 3 operations and a development project and leads the forecast and budget calls with the operational senior management team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the natural resources space as well as experience of group performance reporting, including planning and analysis.
Minimum qualifications and experience
- Strong academics, graduate (2:1) and ACA or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Team player capable of working effectively and productively with managers across a number of different international locations.
- Strong analytical and finance skills with experience in forecasting, budgeting, financial and sensitivity analysis and modelling.
- Previous experience in mining or oil and gas industry (desirable)
