We are working with a reputable Accountancy Practice based just outside Camberley to assist in their search for a Senior Manager to run the accountancy team and help develop and grow the firm.

The firm is going through great changes with new, exciting international clients, changes to all their technology and even greater plans for the foreseeable future.

The Senior Manager will oversee a team of qualified and trainee accountants whilst still working with a portfolio of their own clients. The candidate will work closely with the partners and managers, assisting on business development projects to support the firms existing growth. This is a great opportunity to have an influence over a team and a firm.

Duties include:

• Manage own portfolio of limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and individuals and take full responsibility for client service delivery
• Prepare annual accounts, corporation tax returns and business tax computations for companies; annual accounts for sole traders and partnerships
• Preparation of management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns as required
• Preparation of personal tax returns for sole traders and individuals and P11Ds
• Manage ad hoc special assignments as required
• Responsibility for maintaining the firm's technical standards
• Manage a small team and provide technical support
• Participate in development of new value-added client services
• Seek new opportunities for the firm and participate in marketing initiatives

Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• A minimum of 3 years practice experience
• Audit experience an advantage
• Technically able and up-to-date
• Professional
• Enthusiastic
• Proactive - able to spot business opportunities
• Adaptable (inc. willing and able to take on all manner of tasks - mundane or complex)
