Manager - Private Debt & Capital Markets

A large provider of asset management services based in Dublin currently seek a qualified accountant with Debt Management or Audit background to join their growing organisation.

The successful candidate will have 2-3 years post qualification experience in the funds/financial services industry to support a growing team providing a full suite of financial reporting services and corporate administration to Debt Clients.

Duties will include:

• Responsible for managing a portfolio of Debt clients including all aspects of accounting and administration;
• Provide day to day financial reporting and fund accounting services in accordance with GAAP (primarily IFRS) ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Preparation/Review of quarterly NAV files including Interest Payment Distribution calculations, capital statements, equalisation calculations etc.
• Review of weekly cash bookkeeping
• Preparation/Review of annual statutory financial statements;
• Responsibility for Transfer agency aspects of relevant entities including production of capital call notices, principal redemption, equalisation notices to investors.
• Preparation and implementation of entity customer specific procedures in relation to the administration and reporting requirements; Prepare/Review of accounting files for audit and manage the audit process on relevant deals;
• Manage and mentor trainee accountant within the team.
• Manage client relationships, providing quality and responsive service to clients on a day to day basis

The Successful candidate will be:

• Degree Qualified with 2-3 years post qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA (or equivalent) experience
• Experience in the funds/financial services industry
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Irish GAAP
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues and clients
• Maintain client documents with integrity and confidentiality
