Fund Accountant

Permanent role paying £50,000 to £52,500 plus strong benefits package including discretionary bonus.

This independent private equity firm are seeking a Fund Accountant top join them in their London office - you will report directly to the Finance Director. The role will see you gain exposure to a variety of assets classes such as renewable energy, private equity & fund of funds.

Specific duties include:

• Proactively drive improvement in efficiency and quality of finance operations/ processes and reporting of the investment mandate.
• Fund accounting/ bookkeeping for the multi-asset investment vehicle.
• Portfolio reporting and analysis
• Ad hoc research and analysis projects as requested by investment team/ CFO
• Contribution to financial models which aid the firm's investment decisions and portfolio management.
• Transaction support for investments into third party funds
• Assisting with valuation process for their managed assets and attendance at valuation committee meetings.

In terms of candidate you must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and be from any practice size, though there is a preference for someone from outside the big 4. Ideally you will have had exposure to financial services but they are open on industry background - an interest in this space though is essential.
