An extremely interesting opportunity has arisen within one of the world's leading defence businesses. A new business unit which has been growing fast and with a new director in place has been earmarked for development. This accountant will work closely alongside helping with the production of the budgets, forecasts and strategic plans whilst also maintaining the project costing and accounting system with a view to drive project margin performance.

Responsibilities will include:

• Forecasting and related analysis for the division
• Presentation and preparation of the monthly board packs to BU directors
• Business partner senior leadership to manage risk
• Product margin reporting and customer profitability analysis
• Sales commissions analysis
• Cash forecasting
• Product costing analysis

Successful applicants will be:

• ACA/ACCA Qualified
• Ideally trained in a Big 4 accounting firm
• Educated to degree level
• Oracle Financials R12 experience preferred
• Stakeholder management
• Strong communications skills
