Project Manager - £50-60k based in West London

A global services company is currently seeking a Project Manager for a permanent position based in West London.

The main remit of this role will be to ensure efficient delivery of projects in relationship with the IT function and business operations of specified business executive leaders. All of which, in accordance with company standards and Procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience handling projects for large Global transformation programmes, clear written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of project management tools and techniques, ability to work independently and collaboratively with business and technology colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Project manage large projects according to the timeline, budget, scope, C level relationships/expectations. Participate in end to end implementation planning and manage day-to-day execution of project implementations. Assist with the planning, tracking, documentation, issue management and status updates for the project
  • Manage end-to-end functionality as it relates to the analysis, design, build, test, and deployment of enterprise level solutions
  • Create and manage project plans; monitor and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed; and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success
  • Adopt a standardized development lifecycle methodology for all projects and use of MS Project Online for planning, tracking and reporting projects
  • Establish and maintain Trusted Advisor status with Project, Business and Technology stakeholders
  • Manage UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff
  • Collect, formulate, and disseminate best practices on project implementation, solution positioning and delivery. Provide feedback to Engagement Managers and Executive Sponsors when necessary

Skills:

  • Proven track record of delivering a broad range of IT transformation projects on a global scale
  • Possess strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics and financial resources
  • Client and stakeholder management at all levels
  • Experience of project managing, leading and delivering multiple transformation projects within global transformation programmes
  • Experience of troubleshooting, identifying and recovering failing projects and adopting corrective actions
  • Evidence of collaboratively working with workstream owners to complete critical actions
