We are recruiting for a rapidly expanding business in North Birmingham who are looking to bolster their Transactional Finance team with an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk.

This role is to provide a professional and efficient service to the finance team, monitoring how much is owed at all times and providing accurate financial information directly to the Finance Manager.

Your duties will include:

  • Processing all purchase invoices on a timely basis
  • Ensure purchase orders are appropriately approved
  • Reconcile bank/statements and investigate any differences
  • Payment runs
  • Reconciling ledger accounts
  • Handling Customer queries
  • Working closely with other departments within the business to resolve invoicing queries

The ideal candidate for this role:

  • Previous experience in a similar role 2+ years
  • Experience dealing with high volume
  • Good Excel skills
