Are you technically experienced AP clerk looking to take a step up in your career? Or maybe you're looking for development and exposure to other areas of the accounts?
I'm working with a rapidly expanding leisure organisation that are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk that will be happy to be hands on and work on your own initiative but also be able work as part of a team to meet key deadlines.
Where you fit in?
You'll be joining a developing business within a role that offers flexibility in your approach and method of working. You will be a diligent self-starter, able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and have an eye for accuracy and detail.
Your role:
- Checking Purchase Invoices and credits on the in-house system
- Preparation of weekly and monthly payment runs
- Dealing with queries from suppliers and liaising with the stakeholders
- Correcting any initial errors in the scanning of the purchase invoices and credits
- Assisting with month-end and year-end as required
- General Accounts and office admin duties
What you need?
Ideally the successful candidate will have 1 - 2 years purchase ledger experience and will be confident with excel and to pivot tables and vlookups standard. Excellent attention to detail and numerically minded in a must.
Experience of working with Sage 200 would be an advantage, but not essential!
