Purchase Ledger Clerk - Accounts Payable

Position: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Manchester

Salary: £20,000 per year plus excellent benefit package + bonus scheme

The Company

You will be working within a Purchase Ledger Team for one of the biggest companies in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to work in a thriving finance environment. The role is due to an expansion and growth to the companies Accounts and Finance Department.

Duties:

• Match and coding purchase order invoices
• Dealing with suppliers queries via email, telephone and letter
• Processing VAT returns
• Bank
• Payment runs, processing CHAPS and BACS payments
• Allocating payments.

The Successful Candidate:

• Purchase Ledger experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work at speed and accuracy
• Good team player with a positive "can do" attitude
• Experience working within an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Team
