Transaction Manager - Structured Finance

An excellent position available on a 12 month fixed term contract for a Qualified Accountant (ACCA or ACA) to join a team of accountants in an interesting and fast paced environment based in Dublin City Centre

The successful applicant will work in the Institutional Client Services of a Financial Services organisation the individual will be responsible for managing a portfolio of structured finance transactions. This role will include the ongoing management of the transactions and the preparation of relevant management accounts and annual statutory financial statements.

Duties will include:

• Establishing and maintaining the financial books and records for a portfolio of aircraft leasing and securitisation transactions;
• Ensuring that all obligations (daily, weekly, monthly etc.) documents are fulfilled;
• Preparing audit files for submission to the auditors and dealing with any queries that may arise during the course of the audit
• Preparing the statutory financial statements;
• Completing VAT and PAYE/PRSI returns where necessary for client entities;
• Dealing with the tax advisors in relation to the annual tax return (CT1) and other required tax returns
• Liaising directly with the asset manager, trustee, account bank, auditors, lawyers and other service providers involved in the transactions

The successful candidate will be:

• A confident qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) the candidate
• Experienced in the structured finance industry from a transaction management perspective
• Capable of preparing management accounts, the related annual statutory financial statements and dealing with queries from the auditors;
• Excellent communication skills are required as the individual is expected to maintain close relationships with clients and other professional advisors involved in the transactions
