I am currently working with a reputable, rapidly growing specialist financial group that specialises in property finance, commercial finance and asset management. They are looking for a motivated, analytical, experienced accountant to join their team as a regulatory reporting analyst. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop within a business that is managed in line with the new regulatory environment.

Day-to-day the right candidate will be:

• Supporting the compilation and review of all external regulatory submissions to the PRA, FCA and EBA
• Designing management information reports and KPIs to support the management, control and review of regulatory metrics
• Analysing new regulatory requirements
• Mapping processes, identifying key risks and documenting the controls in place to mitigate these risks.
• Providing advice and guidance to business areas on the treatment of products and transactions for regulatory purposes.
• Building effective relationships with other teams (e.g. Treasury and Risk)

The ideal candidate for this role will be a technically capable accountant with regulatory experience in the banking environment; audit/risk advisory experience is also desirable but not essential. You will also need to be technically capable with excellent communication skill.
