Reporting Developer / Preston / £25K - £30K / Permanent

Marks Sattin are representing an incredibly successful and friendly business, which is expanding daily due to increased business success. They are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst. The role offers a competitive salary, a fantastic working environment plus great benefits.

Job Specification:

  • Support team initiative of data archiving on BI systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency of business data
  • Support senior members of the team as and when required in the development of larger scale projects
  • Support existing business reports to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production and provision of business data
  • Support the accessibility of data to the business through relevant BI systems, liaising with business users to understand requirements
  • Support the development of existing / new dashboards, reports and supply accurate documentation on all new developments in line with business standards
  • Support the development of new automated business reports for the B2B business
  • New Report development
  • Support Team standards around housekeeping of all supported platforms
  • Support existing financial processes and break fix analysis
  • Production of ad hoc business reports to support the B2B business

Essential experience:

  • Good understanding of TSQL
  • Performance tuning in SQL Server
  • Experience of working with large data sets
  • Logical approach to problem solving
