A large market research business located in Central London is currently in urgent need of a Research Consultant to join immediatelty for an initial one month temporary basis to assist with a project.

You will be responsible for:

  • managing the annual data collection and benchmarking process;
  • updating existing datasets and associated macros for reporting;
  • managing data requests from members and other organisations;
  • collating, updating and maintaining a database of key facts and figures;
  • assisting with new and ongoing research projects;
  • drafting of briefing notes, and assisting with news releases and articles;
  • other ad hoc and administrative tasks as required.

Ideally, you will have the below skills:

  • excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate high volumes of information accurately is necessary.
  • strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse, reconcile and present complex data is necessary;
  • advanced proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables, INDEX, MATCH, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS is necessary;
  • use of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) would be an advantage;
  • experience in using statistics platforms such as SPSS, Stata or equivalent would be an advantage;
  • comfortable with the use and creation of macros would be an advantage.
