A key retail client in the north Birmingham area are looking to bolster their commercial finance team with a Retail Performance Finance Analyst.

In this role, you'll be part of a high-performing finance function who drive business performance by effectively business partnering across the retail teams.

Key duties as Retail Performance Finance Analyst include:

• Weekly and periodic reporting on store performance
• Delivery against relevant targets seeking to provide the actionable insight behind the numbers
• Partner key stakeholders to make informed and effective commercial decisions
• Lead store in store performance insight and analysis
• Proactively seek to identify opportunities to improve store performance influencing decision making and collaborating with Retail, Store and Operations teams to drive this
• Provide end to end business partnering which will utilise information across sales, margins and costs
• Work with the wider finance function and resource planning teams to ensure full P&L forecasts are established and efficient

Key requirements for the role of Retail Performance Finance Analyst:

• Newly Qualified, maximum 2 years PQE (CIMA)
• Strong commercial acumen, ideally gained within the retail or FMCG arena
• Excellent analytical skills
• Personable and approachable with the ability to build and develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels (finance and non-finance)
