My client are a NASDAQ listed global software and SAS business. With revenues in close to £400m this is a business on the rise, they have seen increased investment within the EMEA and exponential growth as a result. The business' structure is such that opportunities are extremely prevalent for people keen to further their careers.

This role sits within the EMEA Revenue Operations team, focusing on supporting non-standard deal structuring, financial operation reporting and analysis of monthly/quarterly sales activity. The encumbant will be directly involved in all aspects revenue accounting under ASC 606, including deferred revenue and forecasting.

Responsibilties will include:

• Performing technical accounting research on revenue recognition related topics.
• Contract review, analysis, and summary.
• Preparing quarterly detailed analysis of revenue transactions, to ensure compliance with software revenue recognition criteria.
• Interfacing with internal and external audit on revenue related issues.
• Quarterly audit support; Order Review, Large Deal package preparation
• Renewal Analyses
• Ad hoc projects and UAT testing
• Ad hoc tasks and responsibilities

Ideal applicant will be / have:

• ACCA or Degree (Finance or Accounting) required
• Detailed understanding of accounting guidelines for revenue recognition preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadline
• Work effectively with team members - internal and external to department
• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills
