A well-established global research and investment group across all asset classes is looking to hire a risk analyst in this newly created role. Working closely with an experienced Head of Risk with exposure to the global CRO and the executive committee this is a great alternative for someone wanting broader exposure than your traditional large financial services institution.

Essentially the role entails management and monitoring of risk across the firm, you will be looking at controls and identifying risks. You will be responsible for data integration and analytics capabilities.

Some of your day today duties will include, reviewing automated risk checks, reviewing trading position breaks assessing credit risk, FX hedging, and reviewing limits.

The role also involves helping role out an enterprise risk management framework and helping review and embed a risk culture framework.

To be considered for this stand out opportunity you will have at least 3 years market risk experience, exposure to a broad range of investment products, advanced Excel and experience of SQL/Python.

Along with the above you will have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with excellent academics.

Salary circa £50,000 per annum, + free breakfast and lunch, free gym membership, 25days holiday rising to 30 days after 3 years, study support, healthcare quartile discretionary bonuses.
