Position: Sales Ledger Administrator

Salary: £16,000

Location: Salford Quays

A hugely successful distribution company based in Salford Quays is currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Assistant to join their continually growing team. This entry level position is the perfect opportunity for anybody wanting to take their first step into accounting. You will be working as part of thriving and vibrant organisation.

Previous experience is not essential but they are looking for a confident, outgoing individual who is ready to learn and build a career within the finance team.

Duties:

  • Posting customer payments
  • Ensuring that all requests for copy statements are processed in a time manner
  • Ad hoc sales ledger queries
  • Raising invoices and chasing overdue payments
  • Processing daily cheques to the correct customer accounts

Responsibilities

  • Strong Microsoft skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • 6 months office or administration experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
