SAP HANA Finance Solutions Design Specialist / Architect

A global brand in the technology space is currently seeking to hire a SAP HANA Finance Solutions Design Specialist to be based in its prestigious offices in Newbury.

The main remit of the role will be to provide solutions design and architecture for a programme of work that aims to standardise processes and IT platforms for the organisation's Finance function.

Objectives and Responsibilities

• Solution Design and Architecture for Finance Solutions
• Manage New Demand, Solution Scope & Design and Long term application roadmap
• Manage custom development (RICEFW) rationalization, scope management
• Influence business roadmap through the proactive suggestion of new solutions that can benefit the organisation
• Support: Provide Expertise and Issue management in crisis situations.
• Maximise ERP Invest: Identify Business opportunities utilizing Finance applications
• Engagement management with key stakeholders (local Markets, Suppliers, FinOps, Service Integrators)
• Influence business roadmap proposing new technical solutions, ways of working with the system, proposing different system configuration to improve the usability/fulfilment of business needs
• Manage the detailed requirements within the Enterprise Systems Demand function
• Review submitted requirements specifications and to perform initial high level business and feasibility analysis, validate across products/stakeholders in order to eliminate duplications
• Agree scope, producing technical options and high level designs, working with the Strategy and Architecture teams to undertake vendor selection and satellite system definition where appropriate

Key Skills

• Proven Design and Architecture experience
• Hands on SAP HANA
• Able to communicate clearly at senior stakeholder level & deliver compelling presentations
• In depth knowledge of Finance systems and business processes and software development lifecycles
• Strong consultancy experience in SAP Finance/Controlling Areas: General Ledger, Asset Management, Tax, Treasury, CO-PA, Investment Management, Consultancy attitude.
• University degree in relevant field (IT or Finance) or MBA (if IT related).
• SAP Certified
