Senior Audit Manager

This is a role with a FTSE listed Insurance and Investment Management business who are looking for a qualified accountant to join their business as a Senior Audit Manager in their Global Internal Audit Team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on 4 or 5 engagements every six months with the potential of some being within the company's international offices.

This is an excellent chance to join a successful team of 14 people and gain good exposure to this well-known brand.

Key responsibilities

• The Internal Audit Senior Manager will assess and report on the effectiveness and operation of the control frameworks for the company asset management activities.
• You'll have exposure to a wide and diverse range of business functions including Front, Middle and Back Office.
• You will support the development and lead the delivery of the audit plan through a deep and broad understanding of the risks facing the business.
• You'll be responsible for overseeing and leading a portfolio audit reviews and leading the timely production of high quality concise reports on audit issues and findings.
• The position may require both national and international travel depending on the business requirements.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA - or equivalent) with the appropriate PQE
• A firm grasp of Asset Management required
• A good understanding of Compliance or Investment processes and control reviews
