Senior Credit Controller

£26,000-30,000 + generous benefits package. Wakefield.

Are you an experienced credit controller that is able to work autonomously and deal with notoriously difficult accounts?

I'm currently working with a Yorkshire based multi site FMCG/Retail business that supplies speciality goods to a number of large blue chip national businesses.

Where you fit in?

You'll be joining an expanding a developing businesses within a role that offers flexibility in your approach and method of working. You will need to be meticulously planned and a tenacious in your approach to bringing money back into the business from debtor accounts that are historically well known for be tricky to collect from.

Your role:

• Assessing customer credit and make recommendations on credit limits and terms of credit
• Monitoring customer accounts
• Account reconciliations
• Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time and negotiating re-payment plans
• Lots of dispute resolution

What you need?

You will need to be the kind of person that has a good attitude to proactively chasing debts and a hardy personality to be successful. This is an ideal role for someone that prides themselves on resilience and good negotiation skills in challenging situations.

You must have experience working in either a retail or FMCG background dealing with a high volume of accounts.
