Senior Endur Analyst Developer - long-term contract

A global energy company is currently seeking a Senior Endur Analyst Developer for an initial 9-12 month contract to be based at its prestigious offices in Canary Wharf.

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of the principles of European gas and power trading from front to back office across a wide variety of simple and complex instruments, strong development skills and an understanding on how to configure and support Endur.

The candidate must also have a sound understanding of object oriented design principles, unit testing, and a good knowledge of both .Net and Java.

Responsibilities

• Working with analysts in an agile environment to deliver all project outcomes
• Ensure code quality remains high and internal technical standards are followed
• Carry out code refactoring wherever needed
• Review of testing approach and materials to ensure business requirements are met
• Assist in resolution of production issues
• Mentoring to the wider team and contribution to extending the common libraries in use

Skills Required

• Significant exposure to the OpenComponents .Net and OpenJVS APIs
• A sound understanding of object oriented design principles
• Good domain and Endur technical knowledge
• Ops Services
• UDSRs
• Accounting and Back Office scripting
• Workflow / task setup
• User extensions: result calculators and instrument models
• Good knowledge of the underlying data model
