A global energy company is currently seeking a Senior Endur Analyst Developer for an initial 9-12 month contract to be based at its prestigious offices in Canary Wharf.
The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of the principles of European gas and power trading from front to back office across a wide variety of simple and complex instruments, strong development skills and an understanding on how to configure and support Endur.
The candidate must also have a sound understanding of object oriented design principles, unit testing, and a good knowledge of both .Net and Java.
Responsibilities
- Working with analysts in an agile environment to deliver all project outcomes
- Ensure code quality remains high and internal technical standards are followed
- Carry out code refactoring wherever needed
- Review of testing approach and materials to ensure business requirements are met
- Assist in resolution of production issues
- Mentoring to the wider team and contribution to extending the common libraries in use
Skills Required
- Significant exposure to the OpenComponents .Net and OpenJVS APIs
- A sound understanding of object oriented design principles
- Good domain and Endur technical knowledge
- Ops Services
- UDSRs
- Accounting and Back Office scripting
- Workflow / task setup
- User extensions: result calculators and instrument models
- Good knowledge of the underlying data model
