A reputable consumer goods brand based in Central London have a newly created Finance Business Partner position they are recruiting for.

You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Finance business partner the whole UK & Ireland Business Unit, taking a lead role in partnering some UK senior leadership team members. Duties will include:

• Producing various reports including performance to facilitate decision making
• Financial analysis to develop insights, identify trends and opportunities
• Liaise with business partners to ensure financial impact of decisions is understood
• Detailed forecasts and plans for business units
• Ensure A&CP spend is controlled and aligned with strategic and operational priorities
• Track the financial progress of operational activities / building blocks.
• Reporting and review of Cost centres to ensure spend is in line with the Budget / Forecast
• Overseeing and bringing together Month-end accounting activities
• Drive an improvement in financial awareness including SOX across the business

This role would best suit candidates with a degree and professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with supporting professional experience. Ideally you will have strong business partnering experience with the ability to support, influence and work well with various stakeholders. Strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical and Excel skills are essential for this role. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-moving environment and well to strict deadlines. Previous use of SAP/ TM1 would be beneficial and any prior experience within consumer goods/ retail would be beneficial.
