An exciting new role for one of Yorkshire's fastest growing businesses in recent times. Since the companies inception just a few years they have achieved accelerated growth, won multiple awards and a recent highlights have been their IPO listing as well as a significant number of recent acquisitions. This role has been earmarked for fast track development with the individual becoming a Financial Controller/Head of within the structure in the medium term

The role is a Senior Finance Manager for one of their core business divisions - effectively number 1 in finance for that part of the business and undertaking all finance duties from ledger close down at month end, full month end / reporting responsibilities all the way to providing analysis and commentary and 'business partner' support to the senior leadership team.

Target audience: Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) is preferred. Experience in a small-medium sized company preferred due to the hands on nature of the role, or a division of a large company where you have had to be hands on. Some recent recruits in the business have come from bigger businesses so client has an open mind

Core Accounting duties from bottom aside aside there is a strong emphasis on coming with ideas on how to improve systems, controls and processes. Taking the lead on project based work and contracts.
