Marks Sattin are delighted to be working in Exclusive Partnership will a well-known Group based in the North East to help appoint a Strategic Finance Business Partner. This is a newly created position, which will cover a mixture of responsibilities.

As part of the Senior Management Team, you must have exceptional interpersonal skills as you will be interacting with non-finance on a daily basis. It is also important that you are able to support the CFO & Divisional Finance Directors and have the personal credibility to present to Board.

The successful candidate will be a genuine commercial person, who can help prioritise the financial metrics and appraise the investments (this is key). You will also take the lead in development of Financial Planning & Analysis, including scenario planning, forecasting & group management reporting.

The role offers a superb opportunity for an ACA qualified accountant (Ideally Big 4 Trained with both Audit & Transaction Services/Corporate Finance experience) with post qualification experience who has a wide variety of experience across project related finance work.

The successful candidate will also have experience of managing complex senior stakeholder relationships. Another pre-requisite is someone who has experience of influencing and implementing a long term strategic plan, including converting new business options into robust business plans.
