Newly created Senior Financial Accountant position available within a well-established Construction and Infrastructure company based in Central London. My client is looking to source a Senior Financial Accountant with relevant industry experience to join a dynamic finance team. This is an opportunity to join a company at a time of growth and expansion with the possibility to really make a difference within the finance function.

You will be reporting directly into the CFO and the main responsibilities will include,

• Take on a leadership position within the team to ensure timely and accurate statutory and month end reporting.
• Developing processes and procedures.
• Full responsibility of P&L and balance sheet reconciliation, as well as all month end duties.
• Take the lead on the production of the annual statutory accounts.
• Providing ad hoc technical accounting advice to all departments as required.
• Managing the production of Finance and performance related KPIs.
• Interaction and accurate reporting into both the CFO and stakeholders.

Required skills and qualifications are,

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Relevant accounting experience within Construction, Engineering and/or Infrastructure sectors
• Be an experienced Financial Accountant with solid technical accounting knowledge (regulatory and statutory)
• Work well within a team and be a team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Good academics
• Have a proactive approach and ability to adapt to certain situations
