A cutting edge, global, FTSE listed investment firm are looking for a motivated, analytical accountant to join their team as senior group accountant. This exciting opportunity will allow you to take on an important role within an expanding dynamic company that is forward thinking and creative in the way that it invests yet retains the headcount and feel of a medium sized driven and dynamic business.

Responsibilities include:

• Accounting for all investment activity and all investment related income through the review of documentation and liaison with the operations team.
• Assisting with the preparation of the final monthly reporting pack which is presented to the board.
• Preparation of the financial reporting aspects of the groups incentive schemes
• Reviewing and implementing new accounting standards
• Assisting with the preparation and audit of the year-end group and subsidiary financial statements.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial data for inclusion into shareholder and analyst presentations.
• Producing financial information for overseas subsidiaries
• Other ad hoc projects and financial analysis.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an analytical, technically capable accountant with a keen eye for detail. You will also need to be ACA qualified from a big 4/top 10 accountancy practise. It is desirable that you have 2-4 years post qualification experience in financial services ideally within a fund manager environment or equivalent.
