My client is currently recruiting for a Senior Internal Audit & Risk Advisor to work in the risk management team. Working in this key position, you will be supporting the Internal Audit & Risk Manager to help deliver a risk based approach to auditing across the organisation.

This is a great opportunity to not just gain exposure to finance but the whole business. You will be working across HR, Marketing, Procurement as well as the manufacturing divisions.

This role will include:-

• Conducting reviews based on control programmes and their own assessment of risk and controls
• You'll be responsible for reviewing, reporting and agreeing on any process weaknesses.
• You will help maintain effect KPI's in the team by the timely issue and close out of reports and tracking of overdue actions.
• In the role you will deal with a range of stakeholders and to be successful you will be required to build relationships with, and work collaboratively with, all key business stakeholders in order to encourage and promote a culture of continuous improvement in the effectiveness of business processes and controls.

Ideally you will have a professional qualification to support your experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA) and have the ability to demonstrate strong commercial acumen. You will be comfortable working across financial and operational teams in an environment that is subject to change, reacting to an exciting and competitive market.
