National based business located in Harrogate is currently recruiting for an experienced Internal Audit specialist. Working with the highly experienced Group Head of Internal Audit & Risk, this is an exceptional chance to gain some great commercial and technical exposure.

With a well-established presence across the business, the Internal Audit team has gained more and more exposure to ad hoc projects. This is not going to be just a standard Internal Audit role, you will be given the chance to take on ad hoc projects and build your commercial knowledge.

Working with multiple MD's, you will be key in:-

• Audits to be performed to plan agreed with Head of Internal Audit, focusing on key risk areas.
• Ensuring the level of risk associated with the area reviewed is appropriate or reported to the Board for their decision regarding mitigation.
• Champion best practice in relation to risks and controls.
• To assist with project implementations re Business acquisitions, integration, rationalisation and disposals etc.

You will have experience across Internal Audit and focus on key risks to the business and how these can be mitigated. Ideally you will be qualified (IIA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA) and have a real interest in working in a role which bridges relationships across the group.
