A large, well-known transport company is looking for a fantastic, hard working management accountant to join their team in this newly created role!

Reporting to the Head of FP&A your key responsibilities include:

• Liaising with senior management to produce reports including variance analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
• Supporting financial control, decision making and improving profitability.
• Partnering with budget holders
• Reconcilliations of key control accounts
• Group reporting for the parent company.
• Preparation of annual budgets, holders and management to provide accurate reports.
• Lots of ad hoc responsibilities

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA or equivalent)
• Ideally transport experience but not necessary
• Commercial awareness
• Great interpersonal skills in order to communicate and present to senior management
• Experience in Excel and financial reporting packages

In return you will recieve a salary of £50,000 to £55,000 + bonus and benefits
