Marks Sattin have recently partnered with a US listed business based in Wokingham. Currently looking for a senior management accountant to join the ever growing finance team.

Main Functions

• Monthly and quarterly forecasting in TM1
• Preparation, analysis and timely submission, Balance Sheet fux analysis for all European entities
• Consolidation of monthly and quarterly forecasts and revisions and variance analysis for Europe
• Reconciliation of the European marketing budget and liaising with the marketing team to maintain marketing forecast and explain quarterly variances to forecast
• Working with the wider team for the consolidation of US GAAP management accounts for approx. 50 entities in Europe into monthly reporting pack
• Maintaining full responsibility for management accounting for European subsidiaries
• Investigation and reconciliation of balances for newly acquired subsidiary to ensure management accounts are up to date (full balance sheet reconciliation to statutory accounts)
• Liaison with bookkeepers and auditors during annual sign off and filing of statutory accounts
• Consolidation of fixed assets, leasing information and deferred tax bookings made across Europe into quarterly reporting pack and timely submission to the US
• Monthly Inter company reconciliation and investigation of differences in Europe.
• Calculation of management recharges and sales commissions

Job Requirements

• Must be qualified or passed finalist - CIMA or ACCA
• Familiarity with accounting processes and current accounting standards
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages including a high level of Excel knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
