Marks Sattin are currently working with a leading FMCG business to assist in the recruitment of a Senior Management Accountant. The role is reporting to the Financial Controller, this position must be filled by a candidate who is ACMA, ACA or ACCA qualified with previous experience in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate must have strong analytical skills, be able to resolve issues proactively and drive change.

Job Description

• Preparation of month end figures and reports

• Review process costs and stock values

• Business partner with non-finance stakeholders, providing financial guidance to drive key business decisions

• Responsible for a management accounts team of 3

• Monthly reporting, with focus on areas of responsibility

• Budgets and forecasts

• Support the ops team and assist in driving projects

The Successful Applicant

• Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience

• Must have relevant manufacturing sector experience

• Experience of costings and stock

• Management skills would be desirable

• Strong systems exposure and good excel skills

• Good communication skills and the ability to business partner with non-finance
