On behalf of a leading Supply Chain & Logistics business in Stafford, Marks Sattin are recruiting for a Site Finance Manager to deliver business focused "best practice" reporting and insight to operational performance. In this role you will deliver the provision of financial information including weekly costings, monthly accounts, forecasts, budgets, KPIs and balance sheet reconciliations in a time efficient and consistent manner.

My client is a large logistics business who have sites all over The UK and operations across Europe, they are forward thinking and pride themselves on having an innovative approach at all times. Key duties as Site Finance Manager:

  • Preparation of Weekly and Monthly Operational Performance reporting
  • Provide variance analysis with adequate commentary
  • Support the Finance Sales Team in the new tender process and contract re-tender process, as required
  • Achievement and monitoring of agreed KPI
  • Prepare full balance sheet reconciliations in which all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis with risk and opportunities clearly identified
  • Production of the Annual Budget
  • Production of Interim Forecasts
  • Monitor controls (i.e. Aged Debtors/POs/Payroll)
  • Support the accounts payable process through (but not limited to) accurate coding and authorisation
  • Assist internal and external auditors with any enquiries
  • Builds effective professional relations with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to Finance Partners
  • Provision of ad hoc support to the Financial Controller as required

To be considered for the role of Site Finance Manager you must be:

  • Ideally a qualified/newly qualified accountant
  • Experienced within supply chain/logistics or manufacturing due to it being a very process driven environment
  • Able to challenge the business, analyse current processes and procedures and act as a true business partner to key stakeholders

Package on offer for the successful Site Finance Manager:

Up to £45,000 basic plus highly competitive benefits
