A Manufacturing business in Halifax are looking to appoint a new Site Financial Controller. This business has grown rapidly over the last 5 years and is looking for an ambitious and dynamic individual to lead the finance function.

Responsibilities:

• Being the primary contact for the annual audit and tax compliance processes including preparation of all information for tax comps and audit files
• Preparing the statutory accounts
• Taking full responsibility for the month end process including preparation of journals, balance sheet reconciliations, management accounts pack and related commentary.
• Preparing regulatory reporting such as corporation tax returns
• Reviewing/preparing payroll
• Reviewing cash flow forecast and daily cash management responsibilities for the business
• Preparing the annual budget for the business including liaising with Senior Stakeholders
• Providing information to other departments and other members of the senior management team to assist with making financial decisions
• Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-finance members of staff
• Providing financial support to new projects
• Supporting ongoing and future acquisitions
• Responsibility for currency analysis
• Responsibility for sales ledger and purchase ledger functions
• Other ad-hoc work as it arises from management.

The successful candidate will be fully qualified with experience in a Manufacturing/FMCG environment.
