A large facilities management firm to looking to hire a Solutions Architect with experience of working on large Finance ERP projects for an initial 3 month contract based in central London.
The main remit of the role is to be the technical design lead for all new systems and the successful candidate will need to be technically minded and have multi-sector experience as well as a proven track record of working on the full end to end project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and specifications from stakeholders to gain a complete sense of expectations and limitations
- Identify potential issues between systems and business specifications and propose new solutions to work around these limitations
- Determine the project's scope before developers begin any major work
- Ensure adherence with British Land technology standards
- Direct and oversees the activities of technical team members, answering questions or helping to resolve issues as they arise throughout the project implementation
- Work with vendors to develop and implement specific aspects of the software solution
Skills Required
- Experience as a Solution Architect on large Finance ERP projects
- Technical knowledge and experience deploying solutions with large data sets on cloud platforms
- Strong Technical Literacy - ideally with a computer science degree or equivalent experience.
- Analytical Assessment skills
- Experience of delivering technology and process-based change in both waterfall and agile environments
- Experience of working within a wide range of sectors
- Full end to end project lifecycle experience
