Start your job searchA household name in life and general Insurance recruiting a Solvency II specialist as a Manager intheir group finance team. You will be responsible for the timely delivery of Regulatory Reporting requirements for the group and pay special attention to the Solvency requirements.
Your Responsibilities
- Production of ORSA (own risk and solvency assessment) components, and identifying potential improvements to the process
- Delivery of the group Solvency II Pillar III quarterly and annual QRTs
- Ownership of the group's Pillar I own funds calculation
- Delivery of other Regulatory returns, including RMAR
- Monthly and quarterly capital monitoring
- Forecast solvency position, to be used as a base in the assessment of potential investment opportunities
- Taking a proactive leave in increasing knowledge and understanding of Solvency II quantitative and narrative reporting requirements among key senior stakeholders
Your Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified accountanct with relevant post qualification experience
- Strong financial reporting background, with good understanding of general and/or life insurance accounting
- Strong working knowledge of Solvency II
