A subsidiary of one of the largest dominating multinational insurance firms is looking to recruit a vigilant, part qualified accountant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has at least 2 years experience of financial accounting within the insurance industry.

Currently, the business is made up of 30 people, with 5 people in finance. However, the business is rapidly expanding and is aiming for 50 people within the business by the end of 2018.

This is a perfect opportunity for an individual who has a strong desire to progress within their career.

Your duties will include:

• Producing the syndicate business forecast
• Assisting in the production of various Lloyds accounting returns
• Independent processing of technical accounts
• Assisting in the review of actual results against the business plan to help monitor performance
• Liaising with the syndicate accountant for technical accounting related queries

Your requirements:

• Must have 2 years of financial accounting experience within insurance
• Part qualified (ACCA or CIMA)
• Advanced knowledge of excel
