Start your job searchMy client is a market leader in indemnity, property, environmental liability, cyber liability, marine, reinsurance, accident and life, and political risks and contingency business. They offer excellent remuneration and benefits and fantastic for career progression.
My client is building their finance team in Dublin and are seeking a qualified Accountant to join their office.
Some of the key responsibilities of the Syndicate Accountant include;
- Production and review of the monthly/ quarterly financial accounts
- Analytical review of the financial information working closely with the management reporting team
- Supporting the Finance Manager and assisting on projects when necessary
- Preparation and review of key balance sheet reconciliations on a quarterly basis
- Review output of junior team members and feed into the Controller with any necessary issues
Some of the requirements for the Syndicate Accountant include;
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA Accountant
- 3rd Level Degree in finance/business/accounting
- Management/Leadership experience
- Must display the ability to mentor or coach junior team members
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
