VAT Compliance Accountant - Retail - EMEA & Africa

My client, a listed retailer is looking for an EU VAT Analyst to join their team on a 9 month contract The role will deal mostly with VAT for various International entities.

Services to be performed

- VAT return preparation and filing

- Support VAT returns in the EMEA region for local returns

- Respond to tax queries from tax office

- Reconciliation of VAT accounts

- Providing VAT support internally

Required skills

- Min 2 years of experience within EU VAT compliance

- Vat Registrations

- Experience with VAT reporting

- Experience dealing with VAT electronically

- A background in Retail ideally

- Hands on experience in filing VAT returns

- Advance Excel
