We are partnering with a major client of ours on the appointment of an Indirect Tax Analyst to be based in the West Berkshire region. This role forms part of the regional team that overseas accounting and reporting on all matters relating to indirect tax and is a fantastic opportunity for an Indirect Tax or VAT specialist with relevant experience to further their career by joining a multinational company.

The role is to provide quality tax support and guidance to the wider business - providing technical expertise in line with policies and risks, providing relevant solutions and opinion around contracts, new products and intercompany agreements. Possessing commercial acumen and business partnering skills, as well as strong tax knowledge will be required.

As the Indirect Tax Analyst you will take responsibility for major operational and supporting activities.

This includes:

  • Providing accurate and timely tax advice and leadership to the wider group across numerous different business areas.
  • Developing internal processes and controls to champion tax compliance requirements.
  • Assist with tax reporting and risk analysis during busy reporting and budgeting periods.
  • Work with the wider tax team to develop and implement tax risk policy to aid with risk assessed and cohesive decision making.

The successful candidate will have good experience in VAT/Indirect Tax and either currently working in industry in a large complex business, or in a large professional services firm. Professional Tax qualifications will be highly regarded. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with core tax skills looking to improve their technical and business partnering skills in a global environment.
