Role: Personal Tax Assistant

Salary: £20,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience

Location: Manchester City Centre

A fantastic opportunity for a Tax Assistant to join a leading construction business.

This FTSE 250 Company is currently looking to recruit a Tax Assistant to join there continually growing team, this exciting role would be perfect for any Part-Qualified or Qualified Candidate with previous experience in a tax position looking to continue or make a move into Industry.

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparation and contribution to any year end payroll corrections.
• Ensure appropriate PAYE processes and tax statuses for individual suppliers and subcontractors.
• Contribute to end-to-end processes.
• Build a strong relationship with the Group Tax team, providing analysis and information when needed.
• Help identify tax risks in relation to Expenses processing.

Key Skills:

• Previous experience within a tax role in a professional environment.

• Commencing tax or accounting training.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills in order to meet deadlines.

• A good knowledge of expenses including a good understanding of complex tax positions.
• A Proficient knowledge of MS Office (mainly Excel).
