Marks Sattin are currently working with a well-established firm of accountants looking to fill a position of a Tax Manager to head its tax department dealing with both personal and corporate tax.

The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Tax Manager who has either had some related experience of such a role or who is looking for an upward career move to Tax Manager status. This is a hands-on role and the successful candidate must be self-motivated and have great interpersonal skills. They must have the knowledge to give accurate tax advice to clients and other of members of staff when asked, together with the ability to supervise, motivate and train staff. They must also be able to identify tax planning opportunities to add value to clients.

* Knowledge of personal and corporate tax return compliance

* Knowledge of tax and accounting software

* Working knowledge of VAT legislation
* Tax investigation experience
